Kim Kardashian describes fear of being raped or murdered during Paris robbery on Keeping Up with the Kardashians:- Almost six months after Kim Kardashian’s harrowing robbery in Paris, the reality star finally told her side of the story on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Sunday night.
Kardashian, who said she hadn’t been to Paris Fashion Week in two years because of her pregnancies, opened the episode practically gleeful about her excitement.
That glee was quickly abated less than 24 hours later when the reality TV star was held hostage in her Paris apartment.
While Kendall and Kourtney went to a nightclub, Kardashian stayed home alone.
Someone she thought was a drunken friend turned out to be two men dressed in masks and police uniforms. They threw her onto the bed.
The hotel concierge, who was handcuffed in the room with her, served as a translator.
“‘Are we going to die? Are they going to kill us?’” Kardashian recalled asking. “I was just crying and like, ‘tell them I have babies.’”
“I was like, ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision. Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back?’ It makes me so upset to think about it,” Kardashian said.
“Either they're going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I'm f—ed. There's no way out.”
Tied up by her arms and legs, she thought her kidnappers were going to rape her.
“They had the gun up to me and I knew they were just going to shoot me in the head. Then he ducktapes my face. Please I have a family. Let me live,” Kardashian told her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney,
“I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed.”
Instead, the robbers left the reality star in the bathroom and fled.
West, at the same time, abruptly left a concert he was headlining in Queens after an assistant told him about his wife.
“If anything had happened to you, I wouldn’t have stopped until they were dead,” the rapper said on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Armed robbers took off with about $10 million worth of jewels, including her $4 million 20-karat Lorraine Schwartz emerald cut diamond engagement ring, from Kardashian’s Paris apartment.
Crime scene photos, released in February by France’s TF1 news channel, show Kardashian’s hotel bedroom and bathroom, as well as what appears to be the tape used to bind her hands and a gag.
Seventeen people were arrested in January in connection with the crime.
Seven were released, four were indicted on Jan. 12 for charges including robbery, kidnapping and being in an organized gang. The other six were charged on Jan. 13.
Kourtney, who had gone to a nightclub with Kendall that night, said Kim called her screaming.
Kendall said she left the club as quickly as possible, pushing people aside to get to the door.
Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch, described herself as “frantically upset and in shock.”
“Being woken up in the middle of the night with that call was probably one of the worst nights of my life,” she said.
“When I pulled up to her hotel, I just remember throwing my arms around Kim and thinking ‘okay, she’s alive.’”
Jenner’s first thought, she said, was to bring her daughter her favorite blanket “like that would make it all go away.”
“You can’t begin to explain the emotions running through your mind when you get a hysterical call from one of your children because she’s just been assaulted,” she said.
Earlier on Sunday, Kardashian teased the “very tough episode.”
"However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted,” she tweeted.
“I have always shared so much & I'm not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me.”
