OVERVIEW
June 17, 2014 - We just found this Australian Shepherd and would like to return her to her family. She is a very sweet dog, has a black and white body (with some brown in with the black), with brown, black, and white legs/feet. Was found near Lake Tapps and was very dirty, so I think she's been lost for a while. We gave her plenty of food and water (until she was no longer hungry or thirsty - she ate and drank over and over for hours - poor dog), bathed her four times to try to get off all the dirt, and then took her to Sumner Animal Hospital to have her checked for a microchip; none was found. We left her at the hospital so that the animal control people could pick her up. I believe she will be taken to the Tacoma Humane Society. I hope her family finds her. She wanted desperately to get to her family. Even with loving on her and feeding her and giving her a warm place to sleep, she seemed desperate to get away, to find her family. She's so pretty, we're certain she'll be adopted if no one claims her.
