Simplicity Learning offers our unique Crafting Workshops for Teens with three different projects geared for the capacities of students ages 13-18 years of age. Each workshop spans two, consecutive Saturday afternoons, for a total of six hours on each project.
Crafting Workshops allow teens to take a break from “electronic media”: students will be asked to turn off their devices at the door, and keep them off for a full, three hours! Conversation with real, live people and collaborative crafting will be enhanced by a delicious afternoon teatime snack.
Some creations are intended for the students’ personal use and others will make great gifts for friends or family. High School students who wish to obtain up to 6 hours of community service work per Workshop may also opt to donate their creations to our local Waldorf school’s craft fair.
