All in just over 2 months. It is designed to train you in all aspects of a dental front office. It was developed specifically for those with no dental experience. Although, dental assistants have found the course very valuable for cross training or making the move to the front desk. You will learn dental anatomy and terminology, ADA (American Dental Association) codes, restorative and preventative patient scheduling, charting, dental insurance processing, patient documentation, treatment planning, account management, communication strategies which include greeting patients and phone techniques, introduction to Dentrixâ„¢ and Eaglesoftâ„¢ dental management software and much more. Everything necessary to keep a dental front office running smoothly. Course Includes Course Workbook and Study Guide Course meets 1 time a week. Every session includes lectures, PowerPoints, exercises, quizzes. Additionally, monthly Study Club as well. Requirements No Prerequisites No Education requirements Language requirements.
