OVERVIEW

K.C. Walpole is nearly 70, and going on a 11,000 mile motorcycle trip across the country giving his presentation on "Women and Children in the Jails and Prisons of the Nation". Over the last 15 years he has led more than 2,300 programs in jails and traveled more than 200,000 miles to complete this work. Participants in his programs have included a broad spectrum of people, from inmates on Death Row to youthful offenders. The goal of the program is to help inmates successful reintegrate as productive members back into society. He is hoping to eventually construct a residential center specifically for women and children. The center is designed to help these women successfully re-enter into society as well as restore relationships with her children.
