OVERVIEW

Avancez Talent Studios is now currently seeking people with any creative abilities who show an interest in developing a career in the entertainment, commercial acting, or modeling professions. There has been an increasing demand for local talent in the film and advertisement industry. Avancez is here to help fulfill that need. We are regularly looking for people ages four and older whom we believe demonstrate the necessary talent, drive, and marketability to succeed. Our audition is a two-step process. First, we need to evaluate your skill level.We strongly encourage candidates with previous experience to bring a prepared monologue or provide a reel that showcases them well. We will also ask them to read a commercial copy to see how well they work "on the fly." If a candidate is very young or very new, then we will skip straight to the cold reading. Should we like what we see, we will offer an appointment for an interview. This will help us determine a candidate's work ethic, desire and attitude. It is critically important that candidates come to the interview on time and well dressed. Also, if the candidate is a minor or still financially dependent on family, then the parents or whomever is responsible for making financial decisions must accompany the candidate to the interview. Finally, we only choose those whom we feel show the ability to develop the skills they will need, the eagerness to get started immediately, and the commitment to see it through. For young adults and children, we also consider the enthusiasm and support of their parents and guardians. We hope today proves to be the beginning of a new and exciting future.
