OVERVIEW
Study Area: Piano and Voice Lessons
Now accepting new piano or singing students in my home-studio located in New Port Richey. Convenient location (1/4 mile west of 19 just one block north of SR54). Scholarships available if the price isn't right. I have been teaching since 1985 and now taking students of all ages. My foundations of teaching are: 1. To instruct and empower the student to learn 2. My teaching is matched to the student’s learning style, not the other way around. Therefore, my teaching is flexible and individualized. 3. Motivation is something the student does to himself, not what the teacher does to the student.
My goal is to introduce possibilities.
I believe in the following important ideas: 1. Lessons should be a privilege not a punishment or requirement 2. It will not always be easy but should always be satisfying 3. I encourage creativity, initiative, self-direction and exploration 4. All persons deserve to be treated as people of worth
