The City of Yucaipa will host its 3rd Annual Autumn Fest September 26-27, 2014 in the historic uptown district. Thousands will gather to enjoy music, food, and family contests that promise to leave memories that will be talked about for years. This event commemorates a traditional family harvest celebration that features live music, dancing, festival competitions, and kids' activities. It is sure to draw thousands of people for a full weekend of fun and relaxation. Friday's (Sept 26) activities operate from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature the final farmer's marker of the year. Be sure to pick up seasonal produce as it will not return to the uptown until next May. The evening will also include food and merchandise vendors, live music (Red Letter Band), a beer garden, classic car display and car Show N Go cruise, Kids Zone, and Chalk Art. Saturday's (Sept 27) activities operate from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature family Olympics, Adult Trike Race, pie and hot dog eating contests, soup it up competition, kids' fun zone (includes rock wall, jumpers and train), food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, Y District (includes mechanical bull and a DJ), log sawing contests, a beer garden, queen stein and king stein hold'em contests, Flash Mob, Zombie Walk, a performance by San Bernardino Teen Workshop, Past Action Hero's and Against the Grain as the evening's country headliner. Event attendance and parking is free! Tickets will be sold for the Kid's Zone attractions. A beer garden will be available Friday and Saturday for those over 21 years of age.
