Genre: Theater Variety: Workshops Acting Classes Session: January 13 - March 10, 2015 Imagination Theatre Experience the joy of self-expression through the use of theatre games and short imaginative scenes. This class will develop the young actor’s confidence on stage. Grades 2nd - 4th Cost per session: $90 Tuesdays: 4:00-4:55 Acting A to Z Learn everything from stage directions to Improv and from theatre games to scene study, all while having a blast! Grades 5th - 9th Cost per session: $90 Tuesdays: 5:00-5:55 Parent open house will be during final class ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Musical Theatre Classes Session: March 31 June 14 (no class April 7 & 9) Develop your skills as a vocalist and dancer while working on numbers from popular Broadway musicals. Students will learn the basics of manipulation, voice, and characterization. Well, it may seem true after this in depth look into his life, his plays, the stage, the language and finally, how to perform his works. This workshop is a hands-on, working approach to exploring the bard. We will also analyze one play--King Lear! This play showcases war, madness, stupidity, stormy weather, love, betrayal, death and wise humor from the fool.
