Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro visits the FCC comes away certified:- Moving one step closer to being unveiled, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has been certified by the FCC. With speculation that this phone and the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will both be made official on January 21st, the certification by the regulatory agency leaves one less thing that needs to be done before the model is actually introduced.
The FCC certification did reveal that the phone will be powered by a 3300mAh battery. Previously rumored specs include a 5.7-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 626 chipset is said to be under the hood, carrying an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 4GB of RAM will be inside along with 64GB of native storage.
The Galaxy C7 Pro should feature a 16MP camera on both sides of the handset. Android 6.0.1 is said to be pre-installed, although you would think that any Android model being unveiled in 2017 would come with Android 7.0 running the show right out of the box.
About a week ago, we passed along to you four pictures taken of the phone by Chinese regulator TENAA. We pointed out that instead of those ugly antenna lines often seen on the back of a smartphone, Samsung is using slotted antenna lines that actually add a little to the look of the handset. We should also point out that the phone uses an FCC E-label instead of the sticker that some models employ. That means you should expect a non-removable battery on the phone.
