Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan didn’t expect to see a football player step into their realm. Jones caught the trio off guard with his voice when he sang Tank’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”
After the tryout, Perry wondered why Jones chose to pursue football rather than music. Apparently, his colleagues don’t know about his ability to hold a high note.
In a physical sport, Jones’ teammates probably won’t ask him to sing any love songs before games. However, he should prepare to lend his voice to those asking for a quick sample after revealing his hidden talent to the world.
