The tarmac meeting between former President Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch has raised quite a few eyebrows. And in a surprise public announcement last week by the FBI Director Comey abruptly declaring that the Bureau would not be recommending any criminal prosecution of Ms. Clinton, this decision, unprecedented in multiple ways, surprised most interested observers, confounded many others, and raised a host of questions both legal and political. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, is scheduled to testify before House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Mr. Goodlatte and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who chairs the House oversight committee, are also pushing for an investigation into whether Mrs. Clinton lied when she testified to Congress.
