NYC student cuffed after underage girl performs sex act on him in high school stairwell day before he turns 17
A Brooklyn high school student was busted for sexual misconduct after a 13-year-old girl performed a sex act on him in the school stairwell — a day before his 17th birthday, police sources said Tuesday.
The victim and Justyn Burgos — students at Williamsburg High School for Art and Technology — had been talking for months about his sick plan, exchanging texts and messages on Snapchat, sources said.
On Oct. 2, Burgos allegedly texted the girl to meet him in the school stairwell, where she performed the sex act.
Burgos bragged to his friends about the crime, sources said. On Friday she told a school social worker what happened.
On Monday, school staffers called police. Burgos was arrested for sexual misconduct because the girl is legally too young to give consent.
Education Department spokeswoman Miranda Barbot said the incident is under investigation.
“We are working with the school to ensure appropriate follow-up action is swiftly taken and are providing additional supports, including guidance counseling,” Barbot said.
