Lumber Truck Crash Blocks All Lanes Of Bishop Ford: CHICAGO (CBS) — A lumber truck lost its load on the Bishop Ford Freeway early Monday, blocking lanes in both directions, and bringing traffic to a standstill at the start of the morning rush.
The inbound and outbound lanes of the Bishop Ford were shut down at 159th street after a flatbed rolled over in the southbound lanes around 4:40 a.m., spilling lumber all over the northbound lanes.
All lanes remained blocked as of 6:15 a.m., as crews worked to remove the flatbed from the road, and clean up all the lumber.
No injuries have been reported.
